We arrived in Wroclaw on Friday after a three-hour drive. We discovered I left my passport at the previous hotel, and worse still, there are no phage preparations freely available over the counter. Marta introduced us to Polish food and culture, getting around, customs etc.
We didn't even mention driving on the 140kmph highways here where you are either doing 140 or 80 in the slow lane with the trucks. This means every time you need to let someone pass who insists that 120-130kmph is not enough you hit the anchor to squeeze in behind a slow-moving heavy vehicle and then get in the fast lane, merging with low flying traffic..., to continue at a normal speed. Interesting way of driving.
